RICHA GULATI is a freelance writer and flamenco dancer based in New York City.

Her writing interests are diverse and include articles on culture, health, and style for a variety of national magazines including Teen Vogue, Dance, and Janera.

Richa has studied flamenco for the past nine years in cities including Boston, Tokyo, Madrid, and Seville, Spain. She currently trains in flamenco, ballet, and modern dance in New York City.

She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School. Richa also studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and the Universidad Complutense in Madrid.

Richa published as a researcher at Manushi, a Delhi-based non profit, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. She also spent three years as a litigator at a large law firm, as well as at New York's MFY Legal Services representing indigent tenants facing eviction from public housing.

Today she lives with her husband in New York City.
